Foot care that keeps you moving
Podiatry funded through your NDIS plan, at all seven of our centres and as a home visit. No GP referral needed.
Medicare, NDIS, DVA, WorkCover and private health funds accepted.

Can I use my NDIS plan for podiatry?
Yes, where podiatry relates to your disability and the goals in your plan. No GP referral is needed. We invoice your plan manager or the NDIA directly. Podiatry is available at all seven of our centres, and we visit homes across Western Sydney, the Blue Mountains, the North Shore and the Northern Beaches.

What podiatry can the NDIS fund?
Feet do a lot of quiet work in staying independent, and that is usually the angle the NDIS is funding.
For many participants that means foot care that is difficult or unsafe to manage alone: nail and skin care where reaching your feet is not possible, or where reduced sensation makes a small problem hard to notice. For others it is about how you walk, stand and transfer, which is where assessment, footwear advice and orthotics come in.
What it does not fund is routine foot care unrelated to your disability. That is a Medicare or private appointment.
The line is drawn by the goals in your plan rather than by us. If you are unsure, tell us what is happening and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.
Am I eligible?
You do not need to work out which budget your funding sits in before you call. Tell us what you are after and how your plan is managed, and we will check whether it fits. If it does not, we will tell you rather than book you in and sort it out later.
You can usually access podiatry through the NDIS if:
How NDIS podiatry works
Send us an enquiry.
Tell us what you are after, your NDIS number and how your plan is managed. No GP referral is needed. We check the fit.
We confirm that the support matches your plan goals and that the funding is available. We set up a service agreement.
This sets out what we will provide, what it costs and how cancellations work, so there are no surprises. We invoice your plan manager or the NDIA directly.
If you are self-managed, we invoice you and you claim it back.
What our podiatrists help with
Whether the NDIS will fund your podiatry depends on the goals in your plan, not on the condition itself. Your plan and the NDIA decide that.
Connected care
Podiatry often sits alongside other supports in a plan, and it works better when they are planned together.
Footwear and orthotics on site.
Penrith has a footwear store and an orthotics lab, so assessment, fitting and adjustment happen in one place rather than across three appointments and two trips.
Your podiatrist and your physiotherapist can work from the same plan.
How you walk and how you move are the same problem viewed from two ends.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a GP referral for NDIS podiatry?
No. The NDIS does not require one. You can contact us directly.
Can you come to my home?
Yes. We visit homes across the Penrith area, the Blue Mountains, the North Shore and the Northern Beaches. Home visits are arranged by phone or enquiry rather than online.
Can I use my plan if it is NDIA-managed?
Yes. We are a registered NDIS provider, so participants with NDIA-managed plans can use us.
How often can I have podiatry?
That depends on your plan funding and on what your podiatrist recommends. Many participants have regular appointments through the year, and we will tell you where your funding stands as we go.
Does the NDIS fund orthotics?
Sometimes, depending on your plan. Assessment and fitting can be discussed at your appointment, and we will tell you what your plan will and will not cover before anything is ordered.
What if my feet are fine but I cannot reach them?
That is one of the most common reasons participants see us. Not being able to manage foot care safely is a legitimate support need, not a lesser one.
Tell us what you are working towards
Send us an enquiry with your NDIS number and how your plan is managed, and we will check the fit before we book anything.
