What is remedial massage?
Remedial massage uses hands-on techniques to work on the soft tissues of the body, easing tight, tense muscles and supporting recovery. It aims to help increase blood flow, ease pain and stiffness, support recovery from injury, and help you relax. Our therapists use techniques including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, stretching, heat and cold, dry needling, hot stone massage, and manual lymphatic drainage.

One Team Behind Your Care
Behind every appointment is a team of practitioners who know each other, trust each other and work together for you. Across seven clinics and nine disciplines, our team shares expertise, coordinates treatment plans and celebrates your progress together.
Connected care
Connected care means your massage therapist is part of one team, working from the same plan. Here is what that looks like for you.
We start with what you want to get back to.
Not just where it is tight. What you would be doing if tension were not in the way: training comfortably, sitting through a work day, or simply feeling looser and more relaxed. That goal shapes your sessions.
When it supports your care, your practitioner may involve other members of the team to provide additional expertise.
Your massage therapist may suggest seeing a physiotherapist or chiropractor or, with your consent, loop in another practitioner where it helps. A second set of eyes tailored to your individual needs.
Your care travels with you.
Move between our centres and your plan comes with you, so you are not starting over each visit. We’ll only share information beyond your treating team, such as with your GP, with your consent, so you stay in control of who sees what.
Our funding pathways
Remedial massage can be accessed privately or through a couple of funding pathways. For current fees, contact the Penrith centre.
